SC Farm Report on Friday   
	          
   SC Cattle Auctions Weekly Review:  Compared to last week, feeder 
steers and feeder bulls were unevenly steady.  Feeder heifers were 2.00 
lower.  Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 130.00-151.00; 
500-600 lbs 127.50-144.00.  Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 
lbs 120.00-154.00; 500-600 lbs 120.00-137.00. Feeder Heifers: Medium and 
Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 118.00-129.00; 500-600 lbs 116.00-129.00.  
Slaughter cows were 2.00 lower.  Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 
58.00-71.00; Boners 80-85% lean 58.00-77.00; Lean 85-90% lean 56.00-
71.00; Lean low dressing 44.00-57.00.  Slaughter bulls were 3.00 lower.  
Slaughter bulls: Average Dressing 1165-2405 lbs 83.00-101.00; High 
Dressing 1705-2155 lbs 104.00-114.00; Low Dressing 1105-2395 lbs 79.00-
85.00. 
   Goats: [126]  Week Ago: 389  Reported Monday to Wednesday.  
Slaughter and replacement classes sold on a per head basis and weights 
are estimated.  Kids: Sel 1 20-40 lbs 40.00-110.00, 40-60 lbs 60.00-
135.00, 60-80 lbs 135.00-150.00; Sel 2 20-40 lbs 30.00-55.00, 40-60 lbs 
one @ 80.00.  Wethers: Slaughter 1 and 2 65 lbs one @ 170.00.  
Does/Nannies: Sel 1 50-70 lbs 100.00-110.00, 70-100 lbs 105.00-155.00, 
100-140 lbs 115.00-225.00, 140-180 lbs 245.00-265.00; Sel 2 70-100 lbs 
85.00-95.00, 100-140 lbs one @ 100.00.  Bucks/Billies: Sel 1 70-100 lbs 
130.00-160.00, 100-150 lbs 140.00-270.00, 150-250 lbs 190.00-410.00.  
   SC Grain on Friday.  Corn was 4 cents lower; elevator bids 3.07-3.77, 
processor bids 3.57-3.72.  Soybeans were 9 to 10 cents lower; elevator 
bids 8.00-8.72, processor bid 9.07, and export N/A. Wheat bids were 6 
cents lower; elevator bids 3.90-4.75.
   Cotton on Friday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 2.53 
lower at 59.38.
